• Presents multiple dimensions of a problem. One Visual Net screen may contain 15+ summary metrics with details available with one mouse click, so business users gain a 360 degree perspective of a situation, unlike other tools that try to present these issues in just 2 or 3 dimensions.
• Intuitive, interactive and flexible. Business users can filter out information they don't need, drill down mulitple levels and change metrics in just a few clicks. 
• Shows users the macro and micro views simultaneously. To clarify a problem, the business users typically wants to see more detail. Visual Net allows the user to get to the atomic level of data while maintaining a "big picture" view.
• Investigate issues without support. Business decision makers have an almost unlimited ability to work with, filter and analyze information without having predefined queries or needing to know what question to ask of the data. (filter NOT query)
• Little reliance on IT to operate. Because business users can explore and investigate issues on their own, there is no need to request and wait for reports and/or support from IT.

From a performance perspective, VN uses a high performance data cache.  The data cache is designed to achieve extraordinary response time to queries relative to the database size, without sacrificing flexibility.  The Visual Net data cache can be stored in major RDBMS technologies like Oracle and SQL Server.  At a functional level, the Visual Net data cache is comprised of atomic level information - often transactional in nature.  The VN caching engine processes queries and stores the results in the cache for runtime performance.  The data is organized to reflect the business model and process allowing for tremendous flexibility with respect to the ultimate presentation of that data.  As new queries are introduced the caching engine resolves the query, stores the results for future use and responds back to the mapping engine for user presentation.
